The schools are maintained by the Ministry of Agriculture, only 61 schools in the country can enjoy such a privileged role, which greatly facilitates operational work. We work together with many professional institutions such as: Herman Ottó Institute, Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, National Chamber of Agricultural Economics, Network of Agricultural Vocational Schools, EUROPEA International (we are a member); Hortiteach (we are a member, Flornet (we are a member), Universities.

We are very active in Erasmus+ projects, has Excellence Label, and the practical training we organize represents the highest level of education. The list of international partners is very long, but we also want that every school became a member of one or more professional organizations on international level. Our institution has long-term relationships with partners, but there are new partners who meet the new training needs (agricultural engineering, animal husbandry, organic farming, environmental protection). In this field, the possibility of part-time training, possibly a double degree, organized together with foreign vocational training institutions is very important.

We are also active in hosting Erasmus+ mobilities from all over Europe and also from outside of the EU (Kazahstan, Ukraine, England). We are part of KA2 projects, where we create new teaching and learning methodologies in order to make the vocational training more attractive and tailored to the needs of pupils and students. Three out of the 11 schools in our VET center are EU Parliament Ambassador Schools taking an active role fostering European programs among young students.

We successfully applied with a project called Erasmus School Ambassador program for funds in Hungary, where we train our students to become an active member in their schools to promote Erasmus projects and since this schoolyear we received funding through the Jean Monnet grant to continue this program for 3 more years.

Our center provides full time and part-time education in the field of agriculture and food industry. We work in VET sector at secondary level (ISCED 2-4) and we offer 3 years full-time education for those who want to have professional certificate and 5 years education for students who decided to take professional exam and also GCSE. We are the National Skills Talent Support Centre in the field of landscaping and bakery, we are engaged to train not just our students but also youngsters from universities and from other VET schools in Hungary. All schools (at 11 locations) have school factories where students can learn the most basic professional skills and after a practical demonstration exam they can continue to learn at companies (dual system).

In all schools quality assurance system is working since 2022, we have excellence label and Erasmus+ accreditation in Vocational Sector. We are handling the biggest KA1 mobilities in Hungary. With Erasmus + and other international programs, the main goal of our institution is to develop our students and teachers professional and personal skills.

To ensure continuous professional development, we also organise monthly staff workshops that focus on training educators in the pedagogical and responsible use of AI, supporting a gradual and sustainable transition towards digitally enhanced learning environments.
